I don’t really know what I’m doing on here at 12 am but here I am, missing you again. I love you so much dad. No one will probably ever see this but if you do, have a great day and always stay hopeful. I remember all the times we would go to the playground behind my school and eat McDonald’s, my bacon egg and cheese bagel with your sausage egg and cheese bagel. I put an orange candle because I remember you telling me your favorite colors were orange and blue, then denying you ever liked orange.. How I wish I could go back and tell you everything will be alright, how I wish I knew how you felt, what you would do. I can’t be strong without you, hence me writing this 4 and a half years after you left me. I will never let you go, you will always be my other half. All your goofy remarks and your booming laugh.. You had a presence that lit up the room, you lit up my life. I hate thinking of a dad and remembering he’s gone. Those little moments where I forget and think, why don’t I just ask my dad, then I remember. Those little moments that make me feel like you are still here. I know you didn’t mean to hurt everyone, I love you and I just wanted to let you know in writing that I forgive you, we all do.
