Obituary of Charles Katz

Charles Katz, 86, of Monroe Township, passed away Saturday, September 1, 2012, at home with his loving family. Born in Plainfield, he resided in Marlboro before moving to Monroe Township 14 years ago. He was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran. Charles graduated from the NJ College of Pharmacy at Rutgers University in Newark and owned and operated the Family Prescription Pharmacy in Milltown, NJ before retiring. He is survived by his wife, Hilda; his three sons and daughters-in-law, David and Shelly of Holmdel, Michael and Gail of Upper Freehold Township, and Edward and Erica of Marlboro; his sister-in-law, Rita Trotz of Savannah, GA; and nine grandchildren, Jordan, Alana, Mitchell, Jared, Matthew, Makenna, Stephen, Evan and Rachael. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 4th, at 11:00 AM, at the Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. Interment will follow at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge.
