Obituary of Murray Hoffman

Murray Hoffman, 86, of Marlboro, passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2015, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold. He was born and lived in New York before moving to the Greenbriar section of Marlboro 20 years ago. He was a proud U.S. Navy World War II veteran and a member of the Jewish War Veterans. Murray was a District Principal and Superintendent for the NY Public School System, Queens and later served as a board member of the Marlboro School System for 18 years. Murray is survived by his wife, Catherine; and five children, two nieces and five grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 2, at 12:00 PM at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, Manalapan. Entombment will follow at Marlboro Memorial Mausoleum.
