Obituary of Judith E. Schaefer

Judith E. Schaefer passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2015, at home with her loving family. Born in Newark, she had lived in Marlboro before recently moving to Howell. She was a communicant of St. Gabriel's Catholic Church, Marlboro. Judy and Leon were avid boaters and fishermen aboard the "Judylee" docked at Crystal Point Yacht Cub, Point Pleasant.
She was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Leon, in 2014. She is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Russ and Inna and Lee and Lisa, and five grandchildren, Kayla, Nicole, Connor, Evan and Haley.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Sunday, June 21, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Gabriel's Main Church, Marlboro. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
