Obituary of Judith Ann Oakley

Judith Ann Oakley, 70, of Freehold, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2015, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Born in Trenton, Judy had resided in Freehold her entire life. Judy was a self-employed title searcher for 20 years. She also worked for the County of Monmouth for 12 years at the John L. Montgomery Care Center. She was ordained a deacon in 2010 and served as deacon at the Old Tennent Presbyterian Church, Manalapan for many years. She was an avid bird watcher. She was predeceased by her parents, William and Betty Oakley and her niece, Kristen in 2014. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Walter Kelsey of Freehold. Friends and family are invited to a memorial gathering on Friday, June 19, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., at Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold. Interment will be Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Old Tennent Cemetery, Manalapan. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Cancer Society.
