Obituary of Michael Harold Savia

Michael Harold Savia, 79, of Monroe, NJ, passed away on Monday, March 10, 2025, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton, NJ.  Michael was born in Irvington, New Jersey and was a proud member of the New Jersey National Guard.  He had a passion for antique cars and was very involved in the downtown car shows in Milburn, NJ.  Michael followed in his father’s footsteps by becoming a barber and eventually took over the family barbershop, Michael’s Mens Hairstylist in Milburn, NJ. 

Michael was predeceased by his parents Marion and Anntoinette Savia.  He is survived by his loving wife Joanne Savia; son Christian; daughter Laura (Richard Gingo); sister Francine Pappas and grandson Joseph Gingo.

Friends and family are invited to visit on Friday, March 14^th , from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00PM to 9:00PM at Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North in Manalapan, NJ.  A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 10:30 AM.
