Obituary of Georgia Poulos

Georgia Poulos, 95, of Venice, Florida, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Aspire Healthcare. Georgia was born in Chicago, Illinois and raised until 16 years old in Greece.  Prior to retirement Georgia worked in retail.  She loved to draw, sketch and paint, knit & crochet and cook Greek and Italian food. In her spare time she could often be found taking care of her plants.

Georgia was predeceased by her parents Nick and Emily Poulos; daughter Louise Asta and sisters Paula Poulos-Lecomples and Bessie Poulos- Tsalikis.  She is survived by her son Frank Asta and his wife Nereida; grandson Bill Fraser and his wife Christine, granddaughter Georgia McGinty and her husband John and four great-grandchildren: Olivia Fraser, Alexia Fraser, Shannon Fraser and Julia McGinty. Nieces Niki Barna, Emily Tsalikis and Emily Lecomples, Nephews Bill Lecomples and Nick Tsalikis

Friends and family are invited to visit on Tuesday, February 25^th , from 10:00AM to 11:00AM, at Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North.  A funeral service will be held at Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home on Tuesday at 11:00AM.
