Obituary of Steven Wilmers

Steven Wilmers, 90, of Tinton Falls, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Jersey Shore Medical Center surrounded by loved ones. Steven was born in Frankfurt, Germany before moving to New Jersey. In his spare time, he enjoyed traveling the world, being with his children and grandchildren and listening to Frank Sinatra.

 Steven was predeceased by his parents Martin and Ilse Wilmers. He is survived by his son Alan Wilmers and wife Laurie of Cary, NC; his son Ken Wilmers and fiance Margaret Hanauer of Ellicott City, MD; and his daughter Lisa Kaplan and husband Alan of Marlboro, NJ and grandchildren Eric Kaplan and wife Jenny, Austin Kaplan, Brooke Kaplan and Ryan Stack, Hannah Garcia and husband Justin, Michael Wilmers and wife Ali and Matthew Wilmers and wife Kasey.

 Friends and family are invited to gather on Tuesday February 18, 2025 from 10:30 AM-11:30AM with the Funeral Service starting at 11:30AM at the Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan, NJ  07726.
