Obituary of Angela Arthurs
Angela Arthurs, 57, of Manalapan, NJ passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2025 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Brooklyn, NY and worked as a Senior Travel Director for Sony Music Entertainment in New York, NY. Angela enjoyed everything family. She loved to host a house full of friends and family all sharing meals and laughs. She cherished the Sunday Sauce tradition, welcoming anyone to sit around the table serving bowls of pasta with the family’s homemade sauce. Angela’s favorite activities were tanning at the beach, but rarely swimming in the ocean, rooting for her favorite sports teams, the Mets and the Knicks, listening to rock and roll music from Bonjovi and The Rolling Stones, and of course shopping, especially at Nordstrom.
Some of her greatest accomplishments were marrying the love of her life, Raymond, and together raising their two children, Julia and Nicholas. Angela had high standards for her role as dance and baseball Mom, always picking up from practices after work, and supporting at competitions and games on the weekends. It was through their children’s activities, where she befriended some of her dearest friends, now regarded as family. Anyone that knew Angela, was enthralled by her sense of generosity, courage, and strong will. Through any battle she faced, Angela had a go-getter attitude and a determined smile, while still prioritizing her loved ones. She has truly lived a fulfilling life without regret which has and will continue to be an inspiration to many.
She is predeceased by her parents Frank and Margherita Russo. Angela is survived by her husband Raymond and her two children Julia and Nicholas Arthurs and her sister Julie Bradley.
