Marilyn A. Spitalere, 93, of Marlboro, passed away on Wednesday, January 29th, 2025, at Preferred Care at Old Bridge. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Marilyn embraced a change of scenery twenty years ago, making New Jersey her home. Prior to her retirement, she achieved professional success as a Vice President and Bank Manager at Crossing Land Savings Bank.

Beyond her career, Marilyn cultivated a life rich with passions and connections. She loved to travel, especially during her earlier days going to Europe. Closer to home, the thrill of going to Atlantic City, and she found joy in the simple pleasures of shopping, reading a good book, and tackling challenging crossword puzzles. Marilyn also cherished spending quality time with her family, creating lasting memories during holidays, special occasions, and cherished Sunday dinners.

An active member of her adult community, Marilyn enjoyed socializing with her neighbors and contributing to the condo board association. Throughout the years, her home was filled with the love and companionship of many dogs, whom she spoiled with affection.

Marilyn was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Nettie Cuoco, and her brother, Frank Cuoco, and her niece Jeanne Mazzella. She is survived by her niece, Sherri Pagnanelli; nephew, Brian Pagnanelli; and nephew, Frank J. Cuoco; great-nieces, Angela D’Onorio Demo and husband, Dino D’Onorio and Lisa Torres and husband, Alfred Torres; great-nephews, Anthony Caiazzo and Domenic Pagnanelli; and great-great-nephews, Luca Torres, Vincent D’Onorio Demo, and Constantino Torres.

Friends and family are invited to visit on Friday, January 31st , from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North.  A funeral liturgy will be held at St. Gabriel's Historic Church in Marlboro, NJ on Monday at 11:00 AM.
