Obituary of Frank Aragona

Please share a memory of Frank to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Frank Aragona Jr., 53 of Freehold NJ passed away Feb. 10, 2023 after a long battle with cancer.

Frank Aragona Jr. was born to parents Louise (Varricchio) Aragona and Frank Aragona on September 27th 1969. Frank is the older brother to his only sibling Lisa Aragona Hroncich.

Growing up in Ozone Park Queens, Frank graduated from Edison High School in 1987 where he started his journey into the electrical field and shortly after he followed in his father’s footsteps by joining the Local 3 IBEW before opening his own electrical contracting business.

Frank was very driven. He set goals for himself, and followed through on those goals. Some things on his list of goals he had set for himself was to drive a race car, buy a house, own his own business, and get married and have a family. Ever the perfectionist Frank not only achieved all of his childhood goals but he towered over them.

He not only drove a race car but has a fleet of them and went on to win 40 NHRA divisional races, and 16 NHRA National events which led him to 3 World Championship Titles and 7 Division Titles.

He not only bought a house but made his house the community center for all to enjoy, hosting parties and gatherings and holidays for everyone to attend.

He not only owned his own business but created a successful electrical contracting company, Emanon Electric, that spawned many other business ventures.

He not only got married but sought out and found a beautiful wife, Beatrice. Beatrice matched his drive and passion for buiness, and raising a family, nurturing it and providing for it in every way possible.

Not only did Frank & Beatrice have kids but they have two wonderful children…Emma, 17 and Frank III, 15 that continue to reach goals in Gymnastics, DECA, Soap Box Derby Races, Soccer, Football and Hockey. They also follow his footsteps in the racing world by driving junior dragsters.

Frank carried a kind, caring and generous soul. If ever a friend or acquaintance was in need he would run to help without hesitation or concern for himself. He also sat on the Board for Local 3 IBEW bargaining committee and was a representative for his racing family as the Sportsman Racing Advisor Committee representative, both volunteer positions that he cared for with all his heart.

Frank was a community of his own. If you knew Frank you were part of the community. He was a Father, Husband, Son, Brother, Cousin and Friend to all who knew him. Now he is a Guardian Angel to everyone in his community.

Friends and Family are welcome to visit a celebration of life which will be held at Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Homes, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan on Saturday February 18th and Sunday February 19th from 3pm to 7pm.
